Why Detox your Body?
 
Detox, short for detoxification, is the removal of potentially toxic substances from the body. Although detox is primarily thought of as a form of drug rehabilitation, used to treat alcoholism or other drug addiction, the term also refers to diets, herbs, and other methods of removing environmental and dietary toxins from the body. Through alternative therapies or your own process of elimination through the organs that help cleanse.

  • Get tested for food allergies by your Doctor or for self test:
  • Write down the top five foods that you love the most.
  • Eliminate one of those foods for approximately two weeks.Add it back into your diet after two weeks.
  • Notice how your body feels.Continue the process.
  • You may also decide to eliminate all five at one time and then add them in one at a time noticing how your body feels as you add then.
  • Most likely one or more of your favorite foods is/are the culprits.

How long does it take to eliminate toxins from our body?
 
  • Toxins such as mercury may take up to 20 years to eliminate once exposure to it has been eliminated
  • Exposure to DDT can be detected up to five generations later in humans
  • Some toxins can begin to be eliminated within hours of exposure
  • Many of these toxins and or chemicals are oil based products
  • They are stored in the fat cells of the body
  • When a person is stressed physically or emotionally the chemicals can be released into the system causing symptoms of Illness
  • The liver is the main organ for detoxification it cleanses the blood four (4) times an hour, one hundred times per day.
  • Since fat is stored in the liver it accumulates toxins rapidly’
  • Toxins enter the body’s system through the blood stream and lymphatic system to become water soluble before they can be eliminated

Suggestions for a healthier body:
 
  • When you get up in the morning drink a glass a water with lemon ( room temperature or hot)
  • Give yourself a sesame oil massage before hand or a dry brush massage
  • Evacuate your bowels
  • Meditate
  • Eat a medium breakfast, add alkalizing foods to your diet.
  • Drink plenty of water during the day, preferably at room temperature
  • EAT YOUR LARGEST MEAL AT NOON
  • Eat a Light Supper
  • Eat lighter after 7:00 pm, fruit would be best
  • Have a warm beverage at 9:00 pm
  • Meditate every day for 20 minutes
  • Get a massage once every two weeks or once a month for well-being and stress relief
  • Go to bed by 10-10:30 pm and get up by 5:30-6:00am
